If you continue to browse and use this website or place an order with Rae Henry Designs, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. The term ‘Rae Henry Designs’, ‘Rae Henry’ or ‘I’ or ‘me’ refers to the owner of the website and brand Rae Henry Designs. The term ‘you’ or ‘buyer’ or ‘customer’ refers to the user or viewer of my website, products and services.
Copyright and Data Protection
All designs, images and text on this website are the property of Rae Henry (unless otherwise credited) and must not be copied or reproduced in whole or in part, whether for business or personal use without prior consent. Any infringement of copyright will result in legal action.
All designs, stationery and products purchased from this website are copyright Rae Henry and shall not be copied or reproduced in whole or in part, whether for business or personal use without prior permission. Any infringement of copyright will result in legal action.
It is your responsibility to obtain the correct copyright permission for any wording, poems and images included in your personalised stationery. You agree to indemnify Rae Henry Designs against any action for breach of copyright of such items.
I reserve the right to use images of your stationery for marketing purposes.
I reserve the right to refuse any sale at my discretion.
My products are not intended for use by children as any small embellishments used may represent a choking hazard if detached. Please keep all stationery, packaging and plastic bags out of reach of children and babies to prevent the risk of choking or suffocation.
As many of my items are handmade, slight variations between items may occur and they may vary slightly from the product photos on the website. However, great care is taken to keep variations between items to a minimum.
I reserve the right to change materials used over time, subject to availability of supplies. This may cause slight variation between items ordered in different batches.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure colours are consistent on our products, colours on the final product may not be an exact match to proofs and/or samples. Please note that colour in print may look different to digital proofs due to different screen resolutions.
Your order will be considered to have been placed after your payment or deposit has been received by Rae Henry Designs.
It is your responsibility to order all of your required stationery items in good time to ensure enough time for the items to be made and delivered for your event. It is recommended to order at lease 3-4 weeks in advance of the event date.
Payment is required before I start work on your order.
It is your responsibility to ensure that payments are made to the correct account as stated on my quote and/ or correspondence. I reserve the right to cancel any order if payment is not received and there is no communication from the customer.
When a deposit is made, the work may start on the order but the balance will need to be paid before the order can be completed and dispatched. Any deposit made is non-refundable in the event that you later decide not to proceed with the order.
Before starting work on personalised items, I may send a proof by e-mail for approval and you will be asked to confirm whether you are satisfied with the wording/ font/ layout etc. Any required revisions may then be made and up to 3 further proofs can be sent.
It is your responsibility to reply to and approve any electronic proofs promptly. Failure to reply to approve proofs will delay progress on your order.
You are responsible for checking all wording, spelling, grammar and punctuation on proofs to ensure that they are correct.

Supply of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information sent to Rae Henry Designs is correct. This includes spellings of guest names for invitations, table plans and any other items. Printing of stationery may begin immediately after the information is received, so it is important that the correct information is sent. However, if you notice a mistake, please let me know as soon as possible, it may be possible to make amendments if printing has not started yet.
The lead time will vary for each product. I always aim to complete orders as soon as possible but it is recommended that you order invitations and stationery at least 3-4 weeks before you need them.
It is your responsibility to reply promptly to any communications from Rae Henry Designs. Failure to reply to communications will delay progress on your order.
While every effort is made to complete and dispatch each order in good time, I will not be responsible for any delays or failure to perform its obligations if such delay or failure is caused by events or circumstances beyond my control. This includes but is not limited to acts of God, war, fire, strikes, failure of communications or computer systems, shortage or unavailability of raw materials, illness or extreme weather.
In such circumstances I will endeavour to perform my obligations as soon as possible but accept no liability to compensate you for any loss or inconvenience arising from any delay or failure.
In the rare case that your order can not be completed due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to those listed above, I reserve the rights to cancel your order. In this event, you will be notified of the cancellation and you will receive a full refund. In such circumstances I accept no liability to compensate you for any loss or inconvenience arising from the cancellation.
Deliveries will be sent to the delivery address you supply. It is your responsibility to ensure that you supply the correct delivery address at the time of ordering. If I see a mistake or problem with the delivery address before posting, I will contact you and any delay in replying will delay delivery of your order.
You must make all reasonable endeavours to accept deliveries from Rae Henry Designs. If the courier attempts to deliver your parcel and leaves a ‘While you were out’ card but you do not contact them to arrange re-delivery, the parcel may be returned to me and you will be required to pay another delivery charge for the parcel to be re-sent.
I cannot be responsible for delays in delivery due to circumstances out of my control, such as postal strikes or adverse weather conditions. Rae Henry Designs shall not be liable for any consequential losses, damages or expenses incurred by the customer arising out of any delays in delivery or damage or loss during transit. Rae Henry Designs is not responsible for loss or damage of products by the courier or Royal Mail. I may replace lost or damaged items but this is solely at my discretion.
Storage of Stationery and Paper Goods
Once stationery is received by you, you are responsible for loss and damage of products whether it remains in good condition. Stationery should be stored flat where possible, and should be stored in a dry environment at room temperature. If exposed to the elements, damp or very hot/cold conditions, stationery may become bent or damaged and this is not a fault of the product.
I regret that I cannot offer refunds or returns on personalised items.
For non personalised items, returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase if the item is in new, unused condition and in its original packaging. The buyer is responsible to pay for return postage.
Any defects or errors with goods must be reported within 48 hours of the goods being received by the customer. After 48 hours, the goods will be deemed to have been accepted by you.
In the event that the error reported is an error made by my, I will replace the item(s) affected. In these circumstances you may be required to return the item(s), in original packaging, if requested to do so. Rae Henry Designs shall bear the cost of the return and replacement(s) shall be sent out as soon as possible.
Reprints or refunds will not be made if the goods contain errors but are as ordered by you. It is vital that you supply me with the correct information and guest names. I accept no responsibility for checking your spellings or the accuracy of the information you supply, however I will notify you if I notice any errors before printing goes ahead.
I reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
I make every effort to ensure that all information contained on my website is correct and to ensure that the descriptions and images are a true representation of my products. However I shall not be held responsible for any minor errors or omissions on the website or variations in colour between the images displayed on screen and the finished goods.
